Following this observation, I put together an online profile of my property, displaying photos, a video and all the information I wanted to give to potential buyers. Real estate agents used it as well to pick and choose the photos they wanted to insert in their own listing.
I want people to benefit from my research, mistakes, experience and success. The 1st time I sold a house was a long time ago, back in my home country, France, before the internet. I found my private buyer back then by simply erecting the most simple sign on the garage door stating: FOR SALE (A VENDRE should I say)
I therefore had no experience when it was time to sell my 2nd house located on the other side of the planet where I emigrated 14 years ago.
We first turned to professional real estate agents who charged us a lot of money for advertising but didn't sell the property. One of them charged us $25.000 for a campaign in the middle of winter for an auction that led to nothing. We progressively realised that the professionals didn't do anything more that what we could do ourselves but were charging a lot, lot more. If the agent who charged us $25k advertising had sold the property, we would have spent $65k all together. Doing it ourselves and selling privately cost us a few hours of work and only a few dollars.
If I only had 2 words to use to describe what I love doing it would be: creating and helping.
Creating music, videos, taking and retouching photos (my clients' houses and my 5 year old boy and my 4 cats being my main subjects), designing and implementing concepts.
Helping people achieving their own goal. I'm a fitness and driving instructor and I have enjoyed helping many people over the years towards their respective goal. I also helped people relax for many years, as a director/manager of an exclusive Day spa. Now I'm helping people to sell their big assets as I understand it's a very important and often stressful time in someone's life. I really want to help making the process easier.
My skills are deliberately varied and I am passionate about my new ventures online.
On a personal touch, I love nature, animals and New Zealand which is for me the most amazing country in the world. I stopped travelling after discovering Aeteoroa 13 years ago. For me that was it.
